What if I get my period during my boudoir shoot?

The answer is almost always: we still shoot. The way I pose every client keeps legs curved and closed — I'm genuinely not seeing anything. Ten years. One tampon string. We kept shooting.

Don’t stress!

First — we almost always still shoot. Here's why.

The way I pose every client, I'm never shooting anything below the waist straight on. I'm always positioning your legs to create curves and lines — like this — which means I'm genuinely not seeing anything down there. In ten years of doing this, I've spotted one tampon string. One. And we kept shooting.

So if you're worried about it, you really don't need to be. Your body is doing what bodies do. I'm focused on your light, your angle, and getting you the best photos of your life.

The one exception: if day one has you completely down for the count — you know who you are — then yes, let's reschedule. That's what the calendar is for.

Otherwise? Count your days, plan your shoot around your cycle if it makes you feel better, and don't overthink it.

Keep the questions coming. That's exactly what these videos are for.
