When Should You Book a Boudoir Session?
Book 6–8 weeks before you need your photos.
Book six to eight weeks before you need everything in your hands.
Here's why that timeline matters. After your shoot, your images go through full professional retouching — that alone takes up to two weeks. If you're ordering an album or prints, add another two to four weeks for production and delivery.
So if you're doing this as a gift for an anniversary, a wedding, a birthday — count backward from that date and book your shoot with at least six to eight weeks of breathing room.
If you're doing it just for yourself? Even better. Pick a date that means something — your birthday, a fresh start, or honestly just a random Tuesday where you decide you deserve this.
When you plan ahead, you're not rushed, you're not stressed, and the anticipation becomes part of the confidence you bring into the studio. By the time you walk through those doors, you're not just showing up. You're ready.
